New years eve approcahing. Still having very sad moments about family, but getting slowly easier thanks to whatsapp calls. Marking finished on new years eve so went out for a few early drinkies. Bars close at 6pm around here because of Covid but suits us fine to be home early.
Interesting week regarding the house. Weve noticed it gets a bit smokey in the lounge at night but did not investigate until my friends husband had a massive asthma attack in which we thought he was going to die. It turns out the pipe inside the lounge at the back of the wood burner was bot attached properly and higher up the joints had separated. Back onto the etstate agents for an urgent repair. They sorted it and then sent a painter to repaint where they had damaged – he spent hours painting a tiny little area.
More power cuts in the villa – luckily after I had finished marking. But it turned out to be due to a plug that we hadnt changed from English to European properly – did not let onto agents it may have been our doing.
Pretty uneventful week apart from this, and a night out for a curry in Nerja – well afternoon out due to 6pm restrictions!
